Yup, that is the original plastic... again. I use this mainly for weddings since I don't have a jazz box for cocktail hour.
It says ASAT on the headstock. I thought it might be an Asat Classic. I'll have to check the G&L site.

I managed to scrape off most of the original plastic about a year ago. It was starting to peel during gigs.

This Legacy is one of the three main gigging guitars that gets brought out for clubs and bars. Only dropped about 5 times but it was in the gig bag for most of them.

Maybe it's me but guitars are meant to be played and even though I'm careful, some things can't stay perfect all the time.
No major dings but getting close to a fret job.
