Good to know - the original reason I was looking at the supercharger kit was because of tuning instability problems. I've since set the trem back to stock height and that's mostly cured the problem, so I ended up deciding not to get the supercharger kit.
I'm curious about the dfs saddles and block. I think the current block is brass, so I wonder what the difference would be between the dfs block and, say, a KGC brass block... (

@Twang, I think the bridges in both the Tribute and USA-made guitars are chrome-plated brass - the stock USA bridges definitely are:

I plan on upgrading bits and pieces on mine gradually, starting with the nut (going for a hand-cut bone nut per Louis' suggesiton); my tuners are working just fine so that's not on the radar for me just yet
