Dual Fulcrum string spacing

Just curious, is the string spacing on a Tribute Comanche with a dual fulcrum vibrato meant to be 2-3/16" ?
I measured mine (E-E, centre to centre) and it came out as 2-1/8", but the saddles for the upper E and B strings were quite close together.

The reason I ask is that I'm thinking of getting a supercharger kit from Graph Tech (Tusq XL pre-cut nut, Tusq XL string tree and String Saver saddles) so I want to be sure

I two would like to know the string spacing on the Tribute Comanche. Is it the same as the Legacy? I had a MIM Strat that was 2 1/16 spacing. Will the 2 1/16 Callaham Vintage Saddles fit the Tribute? Or should I stick with the die cast that are on it. I think it would liven it up for sure.

i would not recommend the string saver saddles. changes the tone way too much. the classic is better, but still loses some.

i think the dfs saddles and block are the best upgrade for a dfv trem.

I do appreciate the return reply, so does the Tribute Comanche have the same bridge components as it USA brother? If you owned a Tribute Comanche would you change anything on it. I have heard that the controls and switches are kind of cheap and the tuners should be replaced.
What are y'all s thoughts on changing these components. Thanks again for your help.

Good to know - the original reason I was looking at the supercharger kit was because of tuning instability problems. I've since set the trem back to stock height and that's mostly cured the problem, so I ended up deciding not to get the supercharger kit.

I'm curious about the dfs saddles and block. I think the current block is brass, so I wonder what the difference would be between the dfs block and, say, a KGC brass block... Would there be much of a tonal difference between the stock brass saddles vs dfs saddles, or would the upgrade be that the dfs saddles are harder-wearing?

@Twang, I think the bridges in both the Tribute and USA-made guitars are chrome-plated brass - the stock USA bridges definitely are: http://www.glguitars.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=172). I wouldn't worry about changing anything unless it's not working or changing it will give you a sound you like better. I plan on upgrading bits and pieces on mine gradually, starting with the nut (going for a hand-cut bone nut per Louis' suggesiton); my tuners are working just fine so that's not on the radar for me just yet

Thanks Pat, I would like to change out the mighty mite pots to better usa pots, knowing that I would have to ream the pick guard hole to fit the shafts and then buy different knobs because the old ones would not fit, replace the 5 way switch to a switchcraft. and while I am in there replace the jack with a switchcraft jack and the tuners I would like to swap out to Schaller locking tuners. I also would like to change out the nut but that will have to be done by a Tech.
