See the Knowledgebase for the production dates, here's the post: Production List of G&L Instruments (USA).

Hope this helps.

Anthony,

The George Fullerton is a great guitar and with its tone control like the early Fenders, definitely a different sonic beast as e.g. the Legacy with its PTB system. The bridge pup is not going through the tone controls so no taming there ;) All the Strat tones you'd expect I would say.

Hope this helps,

I bought one last year - I think a '97, but aren't at all sure. It's a great guitar even though it has the thinner neck (I bought it sight-unseen so this was a bit of a disappointment). The wood and finish are gorgeous, it plays beautifully, and sounds great. With that said, I did a tweak so that the tone control also controlled the bridge as it was *very* bright.

For the money you see them sold for, they're absolute steals.
