Anthony,
The George Fullerton is a great guitar and with its tone control like the early Fenders, definitely a different sonic beast as e.g. the Legacy with its PTB system. The bridge pup is not going through the tone controls so no taming there All the Strat tones you'd expect I would say.
Hope this helps,
- Jos

Re: George Fullerton model
I bought one last year - I think a '97, but aren't at all sure. It's a great guitar even though it has the thinner neck (I bought it sight-unseen so this was a bit of a disappointment). The wood and finish are gorgeous, it plays beautifully, and sounds great. With that said, I did a tweak so that the tone control also controlled the bridge as it was *very* bright.
For the money you see them sold for, they're absolute steals.
