Keep the beat day, lets discuss the backbone of any band, the drums and bass, I know we have some bass players hanging around, are there any part time drummers?
I started out wanting to play drums when I was a kid, my mother told my father if he bought me drums we would both be in the dog house with no dinner so dad went out and bought me a new Harmony acoustic! I've had some nice kits over the years, here are my two most recent kits
I gave these Sonars to one of my nephews

After I picked up these mid 80's Pearls, 13 ply maple shell, they were the top of the line at the time, they used to be black and chrome but the guy I bought them from had all the hardware poder coated in white and sent the kit to pearl to put on the new coverings, they do have a different look.

I've downsised the kit this year to a five piece to get more room in the jammin cabin

I have two old G&L basses, an SB-1 and an SB-2, I play the 2 more then the one as I like the neck a bit better. I think the SB series are great basses for a guitarest, they are lighter and fell more guitar like with the smaller bodies and don't lack in tone or playability compared to a L-1 0r 2K I also had an Interceptor bass but didn't like the pups much so got rid of it, it looked damn cool though.

Lets see your bass or drum porn
As the sun sets on this week I bid you farewell and thanks for having me as your lucnch reporter, I hope everyone has a great weekend.
