Lunch today is going to be Peruvian fare from Choza Mama, a joint near my work in Burbank. I'll probably have the rotisserie chicken, but I may opt for the pollo saltado, which is essentially a chicken stir-fry but with a Peruvian twist --- French fries. Yep, they stir-fry French fries in there right along with the chicken, onions, tomatoes and whatever else they throw in. With rice and Peruvian beans it makes quite the meal. Decidedly not low carb.

Bill's ever soulful comments from yesterday's LR have inspired me to share a little about some of the things I really care about in this life. I'm getting married next May to this hot goddess (wonderful woman) that I've been with (more or less) for nine and a half years. We broke up a few years ago, and she moved to New York with our dog --- a very tough time for me. In the meantime, we stayed in contact with each other --- I sobered up --- and we decided to give it another go. And voila, we're getting married and the whole shebang!
Then I've got these guys to help me to remember the important stuff, like food and walks:

The Basset Hound in the middle is actually not ours. But the other two are: Vincent is the Dachshund in the foreground, and Thunderchicken is the mutt in the back.
Do you have any pets? Let's see some pics, people!

G&L Content: Leo Fender era guitars. How many of you have experience with the older G&Ls? I know that some people think they're fugly, but I think many of them are really cool looking. A little different. I sometimes go over to the Buffalo Bros. website 'cause I know that Tim always has some oldies in stock. I just check 'em out and think to myself that I've gotta get down to San Diego and at the very least play some of these old beauties. I seriously considered buying a Skyhawk (with sickle headstock) from an eBay seller a year or so ago, but the guy proved to be a lunatic when it came to communication, so I passed up on it. In general though, I'm very curious about these guitars.

I've got a rehearsal today, which I'm excited about. It's always good to play LOUD! Again, thanks, everyone for participating this week! It's been a blast!!!
