
Shortly after that photo was posted, the bass was sent to Bass North West in Seattle. It was the first time I'd visited the shop, so I made a pass through, was asked if I needed assistance, played the bass and before I knew it was driving home with my new G&L. A great day indeed

This one has a #8 neck and the K-wiring. It's neck even has a good bit of flame in it which is a nice touch

With the K wiring (adding the option for single coils) it has got to be one of the most sonically flexible basses on the market.


The blue burst finish is much nicer in person, and I love the fact that the dark edges are not black-- but more of a deep purple. It's beautiful to look at, fun to play, sounds great, and at 8.8 lbs is easy to play during those long sets... what more could a guy want?
