ASAT is clear, #1 is the neck option and the date must MAY or MAR in probably 1994, as the neck pockets date is fine to read:
MAY 14 1994

But: Who is Jorge?
That would be my guess, too. The neck on mine says "Tony". Haha! Maybe it's their way of leaving an "autograph" on each guitar they worked so hard to finish? My other thought is I can kinda picture the neck builder finishing one up and then writing the name of the next guy in production that it's supposed to go to...like, "this one goes to Jorge", or "this is for the one Tony is putting together", etc. to make sure each piece gets to the right guy.My guess is Jorge worked in assembly...
Oh yes your right, it's OCT 07, I forgot about that. I already had that date in the knowledge base.Ledergeist wrote:The body stamp looks to be OCT 07 1994. My guess is Jorge worked in assembly...
So it's not boring at all!Dave_P wrote: Says "Dlx" but it is not an ASAT Deluxe
That's pretty cool !!Miles Smiles wrote:Oct. 32, oops
It would have been the right time frame for Jorgenson Sig components to be built, and they did come with #1 necks. The head stocks didn't match the sparkle finish on the bodies. They just had the signature decal instead of the normal ASAT one.offplanetfilms wrote:Possibly something to do with John Jorgenson?

Jos, this is what happens when going to work after too many pops the night before. Adjusting the stamp is not easy!-- Darwin

Twice the same date stamp! Apparently this 'antique' analog device does not come with a (downloadable) consistency check app
