Lunch today is some left-over from yesterday's dinner : wheat seeds cooked façon pilaf with vegetables and slices of merguez sausages, a banana and a fat-free vanilla yoghurt.
It's funny how things changed in one generation, my father, who is now retired, had only two jobs in is entire life and my mother only one. I had a lot of different jobs :
in my twenties I was a professionnal musician for 4 years then I became a firefighter in Paris, in a quarter named Le Marais (the swamp literally) for 5 years, then I worked in the national railroad company (aka SNCF) and I'm now a designer in reinforced concrete (I currently work on the plans of a 80000 m² hospital) since 2007.
I don't want to change anymore as you may guess

Time to answer questions :
G&L question of the day :
Does the marketing strategy of the G&L factory matter to you ?
for me it does, I love the guitars, and I love the prices, they're not bargain, but they're not overpriced. I remember a topic with Craig relating a mail from the factory, and it explained their strategy of marketing. I find that really clever to build good instruments, as good as possible, and not going into the same trap as the other companies. G&L is a right sized factory with no compromise on the quality, and not tempted by growing too much. I like that.
NON-G&L question of the day :
What's your style, are you a tweaker, or are you lazy, IE how many sounds do you really use in rehearsals and onstage ?
I confess I use maybe 2 or 3 sounds, I have two very good overdrive pedals (a barber small fry and a T-Rex Moller), a wah, my fingers and the controls of the guitar, all I need now is maybe a good tap tempo tremolo (I'd love to have a diamond trem one of these days but 245$ gosh

have a good day
