Leo handwritten on neck square

Post by Cpcleckler »

Though I have seen this topic on the forum from years ago no one seemed to have a definitive answer. Just wondering if anyone knows. It’s an early 92 neck that has number one and LEO written in pen at the base of the neck

Given that Leo Fender passed in 3/21/1991, it is unlikely that the Leo in the neck pocket was Leo Fender. There was atleast one other Leo who worked at the
G&L factory, see this post: O.K. by Leo in neck pocket?.

Hope this helps.

I get that but my thought was parts will be inspected way before assembled installed. Anyhow after more research I saw things that pointed to it actually being LEG for a legacy. Interesting either way
