"Handy" Andy Pudzianowski and Leo Fender's original Broadcaster left the assembly line in just about the same year. Andy grew up in Chicago, where great live music was everywhere, but nothing was Chicago like the blues. He earned B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry at the U. of Illinois-Chicago, where the campus was near Maxwell Street and live blues could be heard coming through the windows on weekends. Andy left Chicago for postdoctoral work in the S.F. Bay area, where he lived for three years. He married his sweetheart from Chicago, and they followed the job market to central NJ, where their two daughters were born. The "Handy" family now lives in Bucks County PA, where they were ably supervised by a male basset hound named Hubert until 2005. Andy works in computer-aided drug design. He loves guitars and guitar music of all kinds, but is especially partial to strat- and tele-style electrics and 12-string acoustics and electrics. His GAS has been temporarily cured by a '95 Legacy, a '99 ASAT semi-hollow, and an '84 Skyhawk.
