I live in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, Northern Japan. I was born in this city in 1961. Japanese, an amateur guitarist and a collector (not a guitar dealer). I understand English but I am a poor writer.

FAQ to Yamato
Q: What is your favorite G&L?
A: I like the late style Skyhawks. They sound as if I wanted and are easy to play.
Q: How do you store many guitars in good condition?
A: I clean up guitars, and set new strings, tune 1-6 strings DAFCGD not EBGDAE. I cover them with cotton cloth, store in a hard case and check once or twice a year.
Q: How do you finance such a large collection?
A: My family is ordinarily and average family. I have no hobby but a guitar. I have been collecting guitars since 1991. It's not strange that I own over 100 guitars.
Q: Why G&L's ? Why not another brand? How do you feel about the BBE era G&L guitars?
A: I already own 3 Fenders, 11 Gibsons, 2 Ovations and several other brands (Not vintage era models). Those are very nice, so I don't need more. G&Ls are particular case. Still we can buy old G&Ls for reasonable price in used markets. So, my G&L collection is still becoming larger and changing. I prefer 1980's G&Ls. And I know thet BBE era USA G&Ls and Tribute G&Ls must be great and nice guitars, too. I recommend them. I love all G&L guitars and basses. Happy guitar playing!
