Age of ASAT Classic

Post by SamIV »

I have looked on the helpful hints that Craig has left but still can't figure out the age of my ASAT Classic. If the serial number is CL0217?, can anyone give me approximate age please. I bought this used from someone who bought it from a dealer which was his personal guitar.

It was probably built in 1997 or 1998.

The "CL" serial number puts it in '97 or '98. Everything up to '97 had a "G" or "B" prefix, and every serial number since mid '98 has "CLF".

Thanks for the replies and a cell phone pick of it below. Mandatory or post is irrelevant.

For future reference, the relevant post is: Serial number significance.
