Another question: I've seen an ASAT, Signature model that appeals to me. It has a (stock) bridge different from that on the ASAT Classic (traditional tele type). Is this as good as the Classic bridge? Can a Classic bridge be put on this model without a lot of modification?
Thank you,
Linwood

The ASAT Signature model (discontinued in 1992) and the ASAT Special are the same instruments excepting thelshines wrote:Another question: I've seen an ASAT, Signature model that appeals to me. Leo Fender signature decal on the upper body horn.
The Saddle-Lock bridge is considered by many to be Leo's best bridge (count me as one of those).
No, you cannot put the Classic bridge on an ASAT Special without modification.
You really should try out the ASAT Special for yourself and hear the differences between the ASAT Classic and
the ASAT Special.
