Asat Classic Deluxe vs Asat Classic Standard

Post by UgoRipley »

Hi all,
I currently own 2 Fullerton Asats (Classic Deluxe and Special Deluxe, both on the Registry), they are terrific guitars!
I've now found a used Asat Classic Standard for sale (Serial# CLF1905018).

Can you tell me the differences between Deluxe and Standard Asats Classic models, if any?
I've tried searching, but the Standard looks like an oldish model, and it's not easy to find info about it.
That, or I don't know where to look for...

Thanks

You should ask for photos of the ASAT Classic to find out which actual model it is. It could be AC Bluesboy, AC Bluesboy 90, or AC 'S' or AC Alnico or AC or Semi-Hollow
versions of those listed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Craig,
I'll try to post a pic later on to narrow it down.

Here it is:

It seems I'm unable to post images...I get the "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image" error

It works with a right click and let it "open in new tab" though.

You need the URL to the image jpg file. I brought up the imgur link you used in your image post and then copied the image address via right click of mouse to get the sub-menu.

Here it is using your BBcode above but with the jpg url.

It is an ASAT Classic in Emerald Blue Metallic finish with a Rosewood fingerboard.

Hope this helps.
