I have a question about the ASAT Classic bridge.
Will a Fender ashtray cover fit on the G&L?

Yes it will, but the pickguards usually hug the bridge too tightly to allow the ashtray to fully seat against the body at the neck side of the bridge. You can alter the pickguard a little bit to make it fit properly, or just snap the cover down against the body at the bottom and the pickguard at the top.

As milo wrote, yes it does fit. Here is the result of my experiment with a Fender ashtray on a ASAT Classic with it pushed up against the lip of the pickguard:knotty wrote:Will a Fender ashtray cover fit on the G&L?
