Do Fender Tele necks fit USA/Legacy ASATs?
The subject line says it all: can you swap a Fender Tele neck onto either a USA or a Legacy ASAT? I'm doubtful because of the way a 22nd fret on a Tele neck sits on that ledge while it doesn't on an ASAT neck.

In addition to the issues you mention, G&Ls are wider at the heel.
This is something special and good, and definitely a reason to prefer them over Fenders.
