Yes, all G&L USA built instruments are PLEK'd as part of the build process at the G&L factory in Fullerton, California.

In the COMMON SPECIFICATIONS AND FEATURES section of the U.S. Dealer Price List and our
G&L U.S. Specifications & Options posts in the G&L Specifications and Options sub-forum of the G&L Knowledgebase forum,
you will find this statement:

In February 2017, G&L changed the "CUSTOM BUILD SPECIFICATIONS" sheet and renamed it the "SPECIFICATIONS" sheet.

As of the G&L Custom Shop U.S. Dealer Price List dated June 1, 2022, there is no reference to the Custom Shop using the PLEK machine for building the CS instruments,
therefore, G&L no longer uses the PLEK machine as part of the build process at the G&L factory in Fullerton, California.

G&L Custom Shop replied:

We plek every standard production and custom shop instrument we build.

So, G&L has redeployed the Plek machine for all standard production and Custom Shop production.

Further discussion on the facebook post (5/11/2024):

fretwork is already done on the imports before we receive them. We'll occasionally do spot levels as needed,
and most of them get the frets finely polished before they reach dealers during the QC and setup process.
The plek machine is how we do the fret leveling for production, so yes we don’t typically put the imports through
unless we find a problem during QC. It's assessed on a case-by-case basis.
