Bucker Coil splitting.

Post by pico peachy »

I have an appointment scheduled for 30 days from today (yeah, a popular shop) to get the buckers in my 25th Anniversary split. Anyone else done this to this particular model..? Just curious on others' take on it, anything I should know beforehand..? we opened it up at the shop today and the guy was concerned that we would have to go through the volume pot b/c the tone one was right up against the output jack, his concern was that there would not be enough height space for the bigger pot...? I don't expect a true single coil sound but would like the extra options. thanks, Paul

I'll be interested in how this goes as I also have a 25A. I probably won't do anything to it but I'd like to hear what it sounds like.
