Greg Gagliano's Fender Amp Research in Vintage Guitar Mag.

Post by MrRoundel »

Anyone interested in staying abreast of research developments related to vintage Fender amps, should pick up a copy of April's Vintage Guitar Magazine. Greg Gagliano, aka GGJaguar, has a fact-filled article that perhaps dispels misconceptions, and warns of pitfalls (WYSIsn'tWYG), in the buying old Fender amps.

I'd gone to the magazine rack to buy what I thought would be the one that had an article on Epiphone Casinos, but the stinking rack didn't have that issue yet. I guess that's in the May issues, with one of of my all time favorite artists, John Lennon, on the cover with a Casino. I figured that I wanted something to read in the doctor's office and that was it. I'm glad that Greg's article was in there, otherwise I would have paid 6 semollians to see a lot of ads. There are a few other articles of interest but but the so called "news hole" was comparatively miniscule.

Great article, Greg. Any updates on your G&L research projects?
