Must say this makes me sad

I was hoping the person who probably joined eBay just so they could bid on this G&L would win the auction. Unfortunately it looks like some product flipping vulture beat them. The guitar had the makings of someone's dream. It had been held at a lower price for such a beauty only to shoot up another $500 in the final stretch.

I would have bid on it myself had it not been semi-hollow with an f-hole and had the binding. I don't mind the combination in an ASAT shape though but I prefer S-style guitars without an f-hole and to have rounded edges on all sides. The Lemondrop finish with the ebony neck is beautiful. I prefer the relative simplicity of the back. ...even makes me feel happy to look at.........sniff sniff.
