Yamato???

Any GbL Old Timers ever hear from Yamato after the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan a few years back? He was a big time G&L Fanatic, bought several of my guitars, and I know there was a lot of damage in the area he lived. Just wonder if he was OK?
