saddle pics for 95 Legacy Special

Is there any saddle pics of original '95 Legacy Special saddles. Mine almost look like Graphtecs. The nut is black like a graphtec as well.

Here's the Ad slick (circa 1993) for the Legacy Special (located in our Gallery, Ad Slicks and Memorabilia Album)

Here's the 1996-97 G&L Catalog page with the Legacy Special (located in our Gallery, Ad Slicks and Memorabilia Album)

The Graph-Tech graphite nut is stock on the Legacy Special.

The Graph-Tech saddles were likely installed aftermarket by a previous owner.

Hope this helps.

thanks so much Craig....mine seem a lot blacker. The guitar is out to get a fret dress and reshape....general once over by my tech. He will take off the neck and get pics as well of the dates. Does Graphtec put their name on the saddles as a rule?

Sorry, but I really don't know much about their string saver saddles and don't know if they are branded. I do now that some members have used their
saddles and they might be able to tell you. Here's their string saveer saddles web page link: http://www.graphtech.com/products/brands/string-saver.

tnx craig....had a look at the string saver site you gave me. I'll get my tech to take 1 out and see if there are markings to ID them. He has it torn down now so a little more won't hurt and may give us more info as a community.
