First part is played in passive mode, parallel, no eq adjustment. I should have cut the bass.
Second part is more like jaco's tone => active mode, serie ans treble cut almost entirely.

nice sound. no need to cut the bass on the first part. it sounds just right. fuller than the second part actually.

I agree with Louis. The first had a nice full sound. The second still sounded very good, and would cut through a mix. I like the sound of both. Makes me want to get another bass. Lol. I only have one, but still
