TRIBUTE info needed - newbie has questions

Post by kboy »

Hi Folks,
I'm a newbie to this forum as of a few minutes ago. I'm currently re-building a project G&L Classic and can't wait til its done. During this project I've also developed a curiousity about the TRIBUTE series but have gotten so many conflicting information.
1) Are the bodies & necks made in U.S. then shipped & finished overseas?
2) What are your opinions of the overall quality of these bodies?
2) Are the bridges U.S. or foreign made? Thank you all in advance.

See these posts in the G&L Knowledgebase, for details on the Tribute Series:
What is the new Tribute series which G&L announced in 2003?
Why the change in manufacturing location for the Tributes?

Also, see G&L's main website:
Tribute® Series guitars
Tribute® Series basses

And, search the G&LDP sub-forums, especially the Let's talk G&L Products sub-forum.

Hope this helps.
