I saw this artist on the local breakfast tv show the other day and her art looks really cool, she does custom wood-burned art on guitar bodies, stuff like this:
I thought it was kinda neat - a bit like a tattoo, though, you'd have to be sure you love it cos once it's done you'll look at it every day afterward http://pyroguitars.com/gallery.html
G&L Tribute Comanche || G&L Tribute L-2500 || Roland XV-88 keyboard || Roland TD9 V-drums || Austin ribbon mic || Sennheiser HD280 Pro cans

I did this as a hobby for quite some time, never on a guitar body. If you can pencil, like a comic book artist, and then ink with a wood burning soldering tool, you can do this. The effect can be amazing. Neat idea.
