G&L usa asat special semi hollow

Just pulled the trigger on one of these cool guitars. Bought it from Amazon and they have few details other than it has a tinted maple neck and a molded G&L case. Any one have one that is willing to share their info from owning one?

You can expect it will have a couple of sweet "large" mfd pickups, so you're already ahead in the game. Could have a saddle-lock fixed bridge, or maybe a dual-fulcrum tremolo. The neck sizes and shape vary some, but I find most of them comfortable and easy to get used to. Very versitile guitar. If yo play jazz, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. - ed

For the linK, I just entered G&L ASAT to cover all bases at amazon.com. Anyone know when the molded case was replaced with the tolex. And will either guitars fit either case?

This must be a NOS instrument (pre-Aprill 22, 2010), since it comes with the molded G&L case. G&L switched to a Deluxe Hardshell Tolex Case w/Fitted Interior
in April of 2010. The specs for this model has not changed (except for the case) since then. Here is the link to G&L's spec page. BTW, the tinted neck is an upcharge option.
