Hey Jamie,
Never seen anything like that.
So here are observations that could make it legit:
1- Has the right logo
2- Has the same fonts and alignment (i.e. right aligned for categories, left for spec) as used on the official website.
Here some that don't make it legit:
1- The header. Haven't seen that any where else.
2- The '/' instead of ':' after 'NECK WIDTH'.
3- The explicit use of Magnetic Field Design which is not used in describing the
2004 and 2007 runs on the website
4- The rather important omission of push-pull tone control in the CONTROL section.
5- The page for the Special Build ASAT 'Super' was updated as late as 2010. So why wouldn't they add a 3rd run for the Classic 'S' in 2008?
6- The website used the phrasing '## pcs. body finish / fingerboard / pickguard', not the awkward spec at the bottom of your sheet. The penultimate line is not complete ('neck with ...???) .
7- 'Vintage Yellow'? Never heard of that color in that way before! Isn't that better known as Butterscotch Blonde? Or is it indeed what we now know as 'Lemon Drop' (which has 'Vintage Yellow' as an alias) as it appears in the color list of the Registry?
Especially the last 5 points make me highly suspicious. So you might be right that somebody slapped it together. Then again that person could have been the dealer who put in the special order. Who knows? Interesting piece of G&L paraphernalia you have there though.
