Post by maton01 »

A bit of advice please, can I replace the current low end (Cheap) Tuners on my 2011 Legacy Tribute with Gotoh SGV-510's. And just to test you experts more what is the best Pickups I could slot in.

i am not sure about the tuners fitting, but those are thre usa g&l pups, no need to replace them, but not knowing what sound you are looking for, it is impossible to answer what pups would be best.

I do not know of any aftermarket tuners that fit the Tribute series. I replaced a set with G&L American tuners by just drilling the pin holes and they looked factory.-- Darwin

What exactly is the problem with the tuners? I've never had a problem with G&L or Tribute stock tuners.
