Tuesday's been a busy day,
The sun popped out for a few blustery moments, that was awesome....we are back to small rivers in the streets.
I'm still running around so I'll have to post this in a couple parts, ; I wanted to get something up
for you guys.
I've been pretty frugal with my purchases lately, so when the mailman comes with a package it's a real joy.
I was waiting on pins and needles for this one, it was 4-5 days late so that just made it all the more fun when
this Spinach box and contents arrived :
hehehe....I'm grinning ear to ear !
...and there's good things inside ... !!
I'll be back in a couple hours with all the pictures .
I still need to resize/upload/copy/paste...
Most excellent catch Elwood! I clearly recall that auction. That little case from Mr Lohmann has some pretty nifty content and I can't wait to see the pics. And a great distraction from the downpours over here. Although, I see the half moon outside my window while I write this ...
whew...let me get these pics up , then I can relax and respond a bit .
For those who didn't see the auction , This G&L Time Capsule was some of Dale Hyatt's
sales swag that Dale gave to a friend before moving to Texas.
I figured I might be bidding with the best of them ( apologies to ya Sprinter ) .
First things first:
These have some weight to them , very well made -
...and some better pictures using the tripod , and I grabbed the '86 ASAT case for comparison -
The guitar case is a little wider, but not much -
That pen is waaaay cool....and pretty amazing that it still exists .
How about a G&L pen to advertise the NENA finish line that at first shows a a nice G&G case...
. .... then reveals the guitar when you turn the pen over , good idea Darth ??
...and now well protected for the time being -
I have a couple things that just beg to soak up a little Dale H. mojo -
...some Bass 'Hot Rounds' ,
...and a bumper sticker I've had in a drawer for a while .
I'm going to hit submit before anything wonky happens , BRB...
Elwood,
Boy does that stuff bring back memories! Some of it was made by Duane Jennrich who was the same guy that made sure all your guitars played the way they were supposed to before they got shipped out. Nice find,
Fred
Really cool stuff Elwood. How do you even look for something like this on e-bay. Great pictures and you can feel the excitement in the pictures!-- Darwin
Elwood, again, congrats my man
Not that others couldn't, but at least this one ended up with somebody who truly can appreciate the value of the contents.
