Hi guys,

I'm the happy owner of a Legacy Tribute but I allways look forward and I dream about an Invader plus... But I'm not sure I can have one: it seems it is not distributed in Europe.

Anyway, I will find a way! 8-)

But if you've an idea, I'm interested!

I am not aware of any restrictions on any of the G&L models. You should contact your local distributor and let them know of your interest
in the Invader Plus. Here's the link to the one in Belgium. Also, check out this post: Thread on TGP says G&L now exclusively special order. ?

Hopefully some of our other European member's will be able to offer some advice, too.

Hope this helps.

Using your nearest local distributer is best of all.

Some time ago http://www.thoman.de startet selling G&L products. At first they had a few US instruments and very few Tributes. I had some mail traffic, where I made the suggestion not to put US intruments in stock anyway, as they are sold very seldom as they are, because of the countless available options. Instead they should have all Tributes in stock. They told me, they will increase their stock, but it would take a while, it looked like they ignored my suggestion about the US-models.

Anyway, but now there are several US models in the on line shop, but the availability in "on request". So it seems they are waiting for orders on this and why shouldn't they take an order for any instrument with any options. So maybe one just has to write an e-mail to find out, maybe I'll try. ;-)

Another thing Thomann isn't listed as distributer, somehow weired as it is Europe's biggest online store.

Ok I contact Thomann and I wait an answer. I contact a US distributor (which send everywhere in the world) I can order there.
I will ask my nearest shop to know if it is possible to order with them.

So, I'll be patient and as soon as I have an answer I let you konw. It may be helpfull for somebody.

I update for your information:

First Thomann says "It is not possible", second french importator says "It is not possible" and, finally third my local shop after discussing with importator can obtain the Invader. So that's nice.

However, I probably order in the US shop I've contacted because, even with the transport, the price is far more intersting. How far? That far: 1,034.15 USD more if I order in Europe... So I deeply love my fellow european poeple, but... If I book a plane to pick up the guitar in Fullerton myself It should be cheaper...

I will only check the customs taxes.

Anyway, I really thank all the poeple in these pages for their kindness.

Pretty weird, thought Thomann would do that, they do not only have an on line store, but also a big real music store.

You should calculate about 150 $ for shipping and then 25% taxes and fees. They will put the price for the guitar and the price for shipping together and they will calculate the taxes from the sum.

Yes I've been surprised by Thomann, and thanks for the charges, I know that and I still spare money!
But you know the "belgian" importator didn't answer at all... (Looks like he doesn't need money! Haha!)
