Treble Bleed on 1988 ASAT

Post by Oldskoolrob »

Howdy,
I have a 1980's ASAT which is stock (MFD's). When I roll back the volume I notice the tone getts muddy. I opened the old girl up to do a traditional telecaster treble bleed mod and the wiring is indeed different! I saw a '200' labeled cap across the volume pot - is this a factory treble bleed? If so, what value could I change this to to INCREASE the effect (I.E. less mud as you roll beack volume) and should I do it with a resistor in parallel? Cheers, Rob.
