US bridge swap on Classic Tribute

Post by oneeyedog »

Hi, I have an offer of a US made Classic bridge . Will it fit my Tribute ASAT and more importantly wil it make any difference to the guitar performance if I swap it?
cheers

Hey John, I cant imagine it being a big improvement, and it's almost definitely not worth the hassle. I bought a pricey Glendale tele-style "upgrade" bridge for one of my Classics and found there was no improvement whatsoever. Of course, there are plenty of people who might think otherwise. YMMV!

Yes, it should fit, but probably will make no difference. The saddles on both USA and Tribute ASAT Classic models are
brass saddles. Also, see Re: Are the new ASAT Special Bridges made in the USA?

Hope this helps.
