Legacy HB2 Emg upgrade battery...

Post by agbasp »

I'm very close to ordering a new G&L, and I can't decide between a Legacy HB or HB2...

With the EMG 81/85 upgrade on the HB2, does G&L install a battery box on the backside of the guitar?

Anyone else have any experiences with choosing between the two?

Thanks!

I will check with my contacts at G&L next week and find out.

Stay tuned.

I have a regular HB2 and it is a very versatile guitar. It has very nice tone in both split coil and humbucker positions. I didn't even know there was another pickup option from the factory so I can't advise you on the differences.
