Blues in the Style of Mike Bloomfield with ASAT Classic

Post by user1983 »

This is a short blues number i recorded in the style of mike bloomfield with my g&l asat classic in garageband. I've been playing for 5 years now and Bloomfield is easily one of my biggest influences.

Feel free to ask me any questions about the recording, amp settings in garageband, or just general Bloomfield info and I hope you like it!

That sounds great! What settings did you use on the ASAT?

Hi Ken,

To tell you the truth, I had the switch in the second position on the ASAT Classic. The hardest part was getting the amp settings correctly. I ran the guitar through an m-audio mobile box and then into the computer. However, if you're using a regular amp I suggest setting the treble at maximum, bass at about 3 or 2, mid about 3, reverb at about 3 or 4 and of course tons of volume!

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Chris
