It looks kind of crappy because of the flash, in person it actually looks like this(more blue, less sparkle): http://www.glguitars.com/instruments/US ... d-blue.asp
And the whole family
Easily the best guitar I've ever played/owned, worth every penny.

Yeah I'm not sure what color it is to be honest. It looks exactly like Lake Placid Blue, but it has a bit of sparkle to it like glitter in the paint. It's definitely a shade of blue, but the sparkles make it look a bit green in the pictures. I saw it and fell in love with it, I was thinking about ordering one for a while, but this one was just sitting on the rack at my local shop and it's pretty much the exact specs I'd order anyways (only change I might've made would be going with a maple fretboard).louis cyfer wrote:looks like it has a metallic finish.
G&L official site doesn't list it, but some other sites list "Lake Placid Blue Metallic" as a color option, I have to assume that's what it is (definitely don't think it's the emerald blue Metallic, that looks very green).
Thanks! Yeah I love the color.supereiv wrote:Welcome aboard, Lake Placid Blue is cooool

G&L's Lake Placid Blue is a metallic finish. We do list it as "Lake Placid Blue Metallic" in thethedarkstark wrote:Yeah I'm not sure what color it is to be honest.
