Legacy Special bridge re.

Post by timewave »

Hey All
Can someone post a pic of Legacy Special bridge from side looking down at it.
Just got mine back from tech and compared to my comanche the bridge is a little higher off body ,maybe the 9s I had it set-up with (comanche set up w/10s? Not knowing to much about trems to begin with I see more of the bolt that the arm goes in (dont know what its called) the box like piece under top of bridge showing ! normal? plays well! Thanks Steve :confused0007:OH I also found tension spring in case perhaps taken out for 9s?

the bridge plate should be sitting about a 1/8" off the body of the guitar but parallel to it. measure the distance between the bottom of the bridge plate and the top of the guitar body. it should be the same everywhere on the bridge plate.

If the guitar was built in 2009 or later, the factory spec is 1/8" off the body. If it was built prior to 2009,
the factory spec is 3/16" off the body.
