Questions about the G&L Invader

Post by Bubba Winthrop 3rd »

Anyone know what the string to string spacing is at the bridge? It's not on the website. Also, I noticed that the humbuckers can be split on the XL version, so how does the neck single coil sound? Similar to the standard Invader? I can't decide between these 2 guitars. Thanks for any feedback.

Re: string spacing of the #3 neck, I have sent an email to one of my contacts at the factory. I'll post a followup once I hear back.

The standard Invader neck and middle pickups are G&L dual rail pickups which are Strat-sized ceramic bar magnet humbuckers made for G&L by Gotoh.
The neck pickup on the Invader will be much more powerful than the SD '59 SH-1 Humbucker in coil split mode on the Invader XL.

Hope this helps.
