"Made in USA" Markings or Lack Of

Post by azoldguy »

I apologize if this should be common knowledge. I have an ASAT Special w/three bolt neck. The serial number ends in 97. I do not find anything noting country of manufacture on any of the readily seen components of the guitar. Is this common? What assumptions can be made? Thanks to all for any help.

See this post, Serial number significance in the G&L Knowledgebase.

We'd love to see a photo of your ASAT Special, too.

Hope this helps.
