I see from the Knowledge Base that G&L went from 9s to 10s in 2002. I like the 10s on my ASAT and love the way it plays. No intention of changing. I'm just curious as to why the change.
Maybe because I love it, I answered my own question...?
Thanks!

Re: G&L Strings
IIRC, G&L dealers and customers were asking for 10s instead of 9s, so the factory made the switch.lefty_major wrote:I see from the Knowledge Base that G&L went from 9s to 10s in 2002. Re: G&L Strings
Dang!!!
I just switched all my guitars from 10's to 9's except my Gretsch and Fender Strat they have 8's.
The older i get the less work I want to do.

Re: G&L Strings
Thanks, Craig. I figured that would be the answer. I think Fender Teles come with 9s, which was half the reason I asked. But like I said, I like my current setup.
