G&L George Fullerton sig model question

Post by crfowler »

I've been wanting a USA G&L for years - I used to have a couple of tributes that were great, but got sold to fund engagement rings and the like. Anyway, I picked up a used Fullerton sig and have spent a little time with it this afternoon. It plays great, and doings beautifully - but I'm surprised at just how bright it sounds plugged in. I noticed that the pickups seemed to be set rather high, so I'll experiment with that, but wondered if mine was a typical reaction to these pickups

Congrats on the Fullerton, and welcome to the G&LDP! I haven't played a Fullerton Signature, so I can't provide any input...
