... you start picking up talk radio on your tube amp?
I had just started warming up my Valvetrain Lexington reverb (and now I remember I forgot to do a NAD post for it) to try out my new (used) 76 dynacomp RI (I got it for $99, crazy deal) when I started hearing talk radio.
It was a little weird and I had heard of it happening to some folks before so I just fiddled with my knobs a bit and it slowly went away.
I figured some other folks might have more interesting stories.

I used to live near a freeway. Once in a while I would get one side of CB radio conversation from passing truckers. It would come in and scare the heck out of you.........very very annoying as well. For some reason no matter what volume I was using, loud or quite low, the CB chatter cutting in was always much louder.

I never get radio explicitly, but I do sometimes get RFI and it can be annoying. Changing V1 helped it a tonne for me.

I have an old unshielded cable, and I can almost always dial in radio station by using that! Sucks, too, because it is the coolest looking cable ever!
