White and black pickup covers are standard options for this model and the Guitar Options pagedarwinohm wrote:Sweet it is. I still think it is a custom order Classic S.-- Darwin
has been updated to reflect this.
The white covers really look great!

Locking tuners? Nice. What's the neck on that? Is that a standard neck? 12 inch?
Thanks.
Bill

Re: G&L Asat Classic "S"
those are schaller locking tuners. the sperzels look different. schallers are better btw.strinx wrote:Hi Bill,
Yes, locking tuners! I could not find another Asat "S" with locking tuners on internet.
I think they are Sperzel. The neck is 12inch and I think a standard neck (#1 G&L Classic "C")
I played 3 gigs with it and I love it. This one is a keeper
All the sound are very useable to.
Thanks,
Thijs

Re: G&L Asat Classic "S"
Thanks Thijs. Yeah. Schaller locking tuners are a $50 upgrade option. I was thinking about getting these fitted to a ASAT Classic Bluesboy I'm going to order next year. Was also thinking maybe the # 4 G&L Wide C neck (12" radius, 1-3/4" nut, 1st fret depth 0.83, 12th fret depth 0.96). I've got the #1 G&L Classic "C" neck on a custom ASAT Special Deluxe.strinx wrote:Hi Bill,

I had a ASAT Classic S Just like that one, same color and everything.(check the gallery under Bruce Abbe). I traded it for an amp. I wish I had the Classic S back!! Learn from me.....Don't, whatever you do, give that guitar up! Mine was a TONE MACHINE!!!! Congrats on your guitar. I know you will enjoy it.
