Custom order delivery time

Post by Larryb »

Hi...I know that it takes 12 to 14 weeks for a G&L custom order. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out where a custom order is in terms of production date? I don't want to rush the production time, just seeking to know if my guitar will be early or late, for a variety of personal and professional reasons, and so that I can make appropriate accommodations.

Contact the selling dealer and ask them if they can get an update on the delivery time.

Hope this helps.

+1 I contacted my dealer a two points in regards to the Legacy I ordered almost exactly a year ago. In both cases he found out exactly where the guitar was in production...very helpful!

Typically I am receiving my guitar orders in 10-12 weeks, and that's been pretty reliable unless it's something odd like a rustic. Your dealer should be able to get you order status, but it's hard to "rush" the factory.
