I am researching options for a guitar. Any ideas? I suspect it is red tortoise shell but with the depth of black veins I am not sure.
Emailed Thumbs (Wayne of Tone Guard) also, this is his avatar.

The pickguard is aluminum with a special patented anodized finish. I call it Inferno.

Re: Pickguard Help
If Wayne (aka Thumbs) can't hook you up with a pickguard you like,
check with Chandler as they are the supplier for G&L and have many
styles to choose from.
Hope this helps.

Re: Pickguard Help
I have bought from Chandler, they are good. They have so many options and what I did was order several and then use the one that best matched the guitar and what I was looking for.
Expensive way to do it, but they are great.
