Oh Geez. Monday Pinch-Hit Dinner, uh, whatever.... ;+)

What did you eat today?

I had a toasted plain bagel, Olivio, American Cheese (not food or product), scrapple. Half a banana and orange juice. Lunch was a McDouble and Cheese Doodles. Dinner is only a vague hope right now, and it's getting late:

Tell us about a time when your G&L helped you get the girl (or someone you wanted ;+)

Tell us about the deal that still nags you, that you wish you could turn back time and un-do.

Thanks for jumping in Ed! I had a terribly unhealthy day, hot pastrami and fries in the caf for lunch and leftover Chinese food for dinner.

No good girl stories to go with my G&L's
I've got two, selling my 90's USA strat and the real killer selling a 70's Marshall JMP barely had that amp a week and never got to really open it up before I had to let it go, but I had spent all my money on it and my truck had the nerve to break down on me. The truck got totaled shortly after and the amp quadrupled in value compared to what I paid...man what a bad choice that was.

Nice save Ed.

Today I ate a bowl of leftover coconut rice in the car on the way to an exam. Just had a really bad slice of pizza for lunch. Really bad.

I missed out on a used Fender Twin, an amp I've wanted forever, last week for about half of what they usually sell for. Worse thing is that the guy who bought it just put the amp straight up on ebay and got $600 more than he paid for it. Grumble.

Lunch: Didn't eat lunch but chomped on a carrot over the course of the day. During my lunch I went down to the shop again and played a few G&Ls.

G&L girl story: I had my eye on this blonde so after I played the guitars at the shop I bought her an ASAT.

Deals that nag me: For the past few months my time has been spent searching for another guitar. I have been looking everywhere for new and used guitars. I have seen a few prized guitars slip away because the seller had held out too long. Guitars I was ready to buy have sold for less than what I was ready to offer. Unbelievable prices. I have been stunned a couple of times. Moped around for days each time. Life pretty much was at a halt while I searched for this guitar. But that's over for now. I feel like I am a whole person and have my life back again.

I made an exception for the LR but this is the first and last time using the girl/guitar reference.

Great save Ed! I had a very unhealthy great dinner last night, a PaPa Murphys pepperoni and cheese pizza loaded with both! I ahve a couple of pieces left for today!

Ask which G&L has caused me the most trouble. Ginny found a case behind the couch a couple of days ago and I had some "splainin" to do. It will get a report when everything is in place. This one has a story.

Ed, we sometimes wait too long. I let a SC-2 slip by that was in the marketplace and on the bay earlier this week that I should have jumped on. The market prices are surprising and I am glad that I am not trying to sell. -- Darwin
