Played an Ascari today

Post by Ches »

Howdy campers . . . Just stopping by to comment on the latest from G&L. I stopped at a local G&L dealer to look at an amp. I reached for a dual humbucker guitar sitting on a nearby stand, not realizing initially it was a G&L. Very light weight, great feeling neck, sounded fantastic, and offered a solid value for the money. I'm impressed. If I wasn't neck deep in dual humbucker guitars I would have bought it on the spot. Hell, I might go back and get it anyway.

I read some of the comments about this guitar, and I actually prefer the TOM over the Saddle lock bridge. The fact that it's a Tone Pros locking bridge and tailpiece is a real bonus. I'm not nuts about the headstock, but as a general rule I never play the headstock, so it's all good. I think this could be a big hit with younger players, and a solid back up for a gigging guitarist who wants something a bit different than a Lester. Great job, Darth & company!

. . . and now, back to your regular programming . . .

Glad to hear to liked the Ascari! In fact, I think you liked it a lot!

If I were you, I'd buy the Ascari & sell the HB guitar you use the least..

or keep all of them.

Just do it!!! :happy0007:
