Custom Built G&L Guitars

Wanting to have G&L build me an ASAT per my specs with tremolo. Does G&L do that and should I go through the dealer to get advanced pricing? Thanks

Maybe they will, depending upon your specs and the ASAT model you are basing it on.
And, yes, you will need to work with a G&L dealer to get the pricing.

Care to share what you have in mind?

Similar to ASAT HB, need DF trem, Ebony fingerboard, compound 10-16" radius would be nice, push pots for single when needed, USA built and plekked . . . . etc. etc. Could go on, Korina, satin finished maple neck. .

Interesting, would you use the same pickups as what was used in
the ASAT HB (neck legacy single coil and bridge G&L AW4370B Alnico
humbucker)? G&L has not done compound radius necks (so far) and
a Korina body might not be available, since they are being used for
the Custom Creations Korina Series Limited Edition models. Otherwise,
I don't think your other specs would be showstoppers for the factory to build.
But, do understand that I am not a G&L employee and cannot act in any
official capacity for G&L Sales or the Factory.

I suggest you take your specs (including compound radius neck and Korina body)
to a G&L dealer and have them work with the factory to see if they will build it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll do some more homework. It's not a show-stopper and only meant for my general style and wants in a guitar and not to impress anyone but me. I like this site and G&L is moving up my list and I don't even own one. Thanks again, I'll be hanging around.

Do yourself a favor, and get one. G&L has always made incredible guitars, and it seems like they've been stepping it up another notch lately.

The DF and DFS bridges are optional on all ASAT guitars except models in the ASAT Classic range.

That should help you narrow down which one to choose as your first. ;)

Hope this helps.

Awesome, Thanks for the info. That's why I am here. Having a garage sale this weekend and I should make enough for a visit to my local G&L dealer.

I sold 2 USA made guitars from that other company to get my first G&L and never regretted it.

Warning! You may not be able to buy just one!
