The place to discuss, post photos, video, and audio of the G&L products (US instruments, stomp boxes, etc.) produced after 1991, including the amps & gear we use with them.
From a post by Dave McLaren on G&L's Facebook page, which was posted this morning:
G&L Musical Instruments
I've been trying to get Paul Gagon, our VP engineering, to do a little history piece on himself.
He's got such an amazing background, but he's not into promoting himself like so many of the
"guru" types in this business. Anyway, I finally got him to write it and it's totally Paul - down to
earth and real. It's an interesting read, so check it out. - Dave
Thanks for posting Craig, very interesting read! I am also a fan of Charvel/Jackson, and I am fascinated with the southern California hot rod guitars of the early 80's. So it's obvious why I love the 3 G&L superstrats! Like G&L, I am also interested in the history of Jackson Guitars, So I've read the name before, but I didn't realize he was now with G&L.
Hey Craig, A great read on Paul Gagon. What a life he has led already, and doing something that he love's. Would of liked to run into him when he had that suitcase of pickups with him! What a time trying some of them out. If I ever get out to the west coast, I'll be stopping at G&L's warehouse, BBE. I don't own 6 G&L's for nothing. I've been playing 45 years give or take, and there's nothing like my G&L's ------------- Donn
